Warmthru
Battery Heated Gloveliners
(WT)
Modular, Machine-washable, Heat 4 Fingers.
Heated
Gloveliners go inside your normal gloves and are heated using a rechargeable
battery that fits into a stitched pocket on top of the Gloveliner. There
are 2 different types of Warmthru Gloveliner: WT, the one featured on
this page and G1. The main difference is that WT uses a heat element
that is removable and replaceable whereas G1's element is sewn in.
WT has
the advantage of washability. Because the element is completely
removed before washing, the fabric can then be hand or machine washed.
There are three different sizes, M, L, XL. One battery charge
should heat an element for 4-5 hours in continuous use.
A disadvantage
with WT is that only four fingers (not the thumb) receive direct heat
from the element. However the ambient heat produced by the Gloveliners
is certainly enough to keep the thumb warm so this has not been a big
problem for our customers. If direct heat to the thumb is important
then the G1 is a better bet as it heats five fingers.
We try
to keep our designs as simple as possible - often, the more complicated
a product then the more there is to go wrong. So there is no Heat Controller.
Gloveliners come with Li-Ion rechargeable batteries without
an On-Off switch, however when purchasing there is an option to buy
batteries with an On-Off Switch quite cheaply if bought at the same
time, which gives you four batteries and not just two - this
is a good idea because it means you will always have two batteries
charging while two are being used.
Spare elements
and liners can also be purchased from Realshopping at time of purchase
or you can come back later.
